Calligraphy Competition in Department of Art and Design, December 2025

Calligraphy Competition The Art Culture and Heritage Society, Vice Chancellor's DYLP Program, GC Women University Faisalabad, organized a calligraphy competition in collaboration with the department of Art and Design GCWUF on December 12, 2025. The event was inaugurated by Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli, who emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting cultural heritage through art. The Guest of Honor, Mr. Talha Jamil, Founding President of Innovative Youth Circle, praised the efforts of the students and encouraged them to continue showcasing their talents. A total of 94 students from GCWUF, GCUF, and UAF participated in the competition, showcasing their skills in calligraphy. The winners received cash prizes of Rs. 3000, Rs. 2000, and Rs. 1000 for first, second, and third positions, respectively. Additionally, six gift bags were awarded to the runner-ups by Innovative Youth Circle. The event aimed to promote and appreciate the artistic talents of students, providing a platform for them to showcase their creativity and skills in calligraphy.
