GCWUF Raises Awareness on Smog, Environmental Protection, and Human Health

October 21, 2026: With worthy Chairman PHEC Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan as Chief Guest, GCWUF hosted an awareness seminar on ???Smog and Human Health: Risks, Prevention, and the Role of Nutrition.??? Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.) warmly received the Chief Guest. In his address, Prof. Dr. Iqrar highlighted the health risks of smog, preventive measures, and the role of balanced nutrition in protecting public health. Prof. Dr. Ameen appreciated the efforts of the organisers and commended the role of EPA in fighting smog and other environmental hazards. The Department of Nutritional Sciences organized the seminar in collaboration with the Directorate of Student Affairs and EPA Punjab.
