International Seminar on Pak???Turk Academic, Literary & Cultural Ties by Media and Communication Society

OBJECTIVE To organize an international academic seminar on November 25, 2025, at Government College Women University Faisalabad that strengthens Pak???Turk academic and cultural relations, celebrates the contributions of women freedom icons from Pakistan and T??rkiye, and promotes women???s empowerment. REPORT The Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) hosted an International Seminar on Academic, Literary and Cultural Ties Between T??rkiye and Pakistan to celebrate the legacy of Pak???Turk women freedom icons. The event took place on November 25, 2025, at 12:30 PM in the Jinnah Auditorium. The seminar was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.), Vice Chancellor of GCWUF. Distinguished guests included Prof. Dr. Halil Toker and Dr. Mehmet Toyran as Chief Guests, alongside Guests of Honor Prof. Dr. Rabia Sarfraz, Eren Miyaso??lu, and Dr. Hafiz Aamir Ali. The seminar was organized by the Women Development & Mentoring Centre in collaboration with the Media & Communication Society and the Human Rights & Peace Society of GCWUF. OUTCOME The seminar successfully strengthened academic, literary, and cultural collaboration between Pakistan and T??rkiye while honoring the legacy of Pak???Turk women freedom icons. It promoted meaningful scholarly dialogue, encouraged intellectual exchange among participants, and laid the foundation for future joint academic and cultural initiatives. The event also reinforced institutional commitment to women???s empowerment and leadership development.
