GC Women University Faisalabad and GC Women University Sialkot Sign MoU to Strengthen collaboration Faisalabad, July 24, 2026: Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) and Government College Women University Sialkot (GCWUS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a partnership for advancing academic excellence, research, innovation, faculty and student development, and women's empowerment. The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.), Vice Chancellor, GCWUF, and Prof. Dr. Shazia Bashir, Vice Chancellor, GCWUS. It was also co-signed by Prof. Dr. Aysha Sameen, Director External Linkages, GCWUF, and Dr. Muhammad Umer Farrukh, Director External Linkages, GCWUS. The collaboration provides a framework for joint research, faculty and student exchange, academic events, capacity-building initiatives, innovation and entrepreneurship, community engagement, and international academic partnerships. Senior officials from both universities attended the MoU signing ceremony.
