MOU b/w Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, PMC/FMUC

The Department of Applied Psychology, Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, PMC/FMUC, on 2 July 2026. The partnership aims to strengthen academic collaboration, clinical training, research, internships, and professional development in mental health. The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Ayesha Sameen, Dr. Saira Khan, Dr. Maham, and faculty members of the Department of Applied Psychology. The collaboration will create opportunities for joint research, seminars, workshops, student clinical placements, and supervised practical training. Following the signing, an interactive session with students explored the psychological challenges faced by Generation Z, including social media addiction, stress, anxiety, depression, and career uncertainty. The session concluded with practical strategies for promoting mental well-being and reaffirmed both institutions' commitment to advancing mental health education, research, and community services.
