Module III-MPU-NAHE-Phase-II "Growth and Reflection: Expectations and Goals"

The Faculty & Staff Development Center (FSDC), Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) successfully organized Module III of the Mentoring Program for Universities (MPU???NAHE Phase II) on 1st July 2026 at the Jinnah Auditorium, GCWUF. The session, titled "Growth and Reflection: Expectations and Goals," provided an engaging platform for mentees to reflect on their professional journey, clarify their expectations from the mentoring program, and develop meaningful goals for personal and academic growth. The session featured an esteemed panel of mentors comprising Prof. Dr. Sofia Anwar, Dean, Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences, GCUF; Dr. Abida Kausar, Chairperson, Department of Botany, GCWUF; and Dr. Mubashra Sadia, Chairperson, Department of Biochemistry, GCWUF. Drawing upon their rich academic and leadership experiences, the mentors shared valuable insights on setting realistic goals, embracing continuous learning, cultivating resilience, and maximizing the opportunities offered through structured mentoring. The proceedings were highly interactive, encouraging active participation through reflective discussions and experience sharing. Prof Dr Sofia Anwar delivered a highly engaging talk integreted with real life examples to maintain work-life balance thorugh continous growth and long lasting reflection in the ecosystem. Dr Mubashrah Sadia and Dr Abida Kausar presented thought provoking and highly interesting aspects of the module. The mentors motivated participants to identify their strengths, align their aspirations with institutional goals, and adopt a proactive approach towards professional development. The Faculty & Staff Development Center remains committed to fostering a culture of mentoring, collaboration, and lifelong learning at GCWUF. The successful completion of this module marks another significant step towards empowering faculty members with the knowledge, confidence, and leadership competencies required to excel in academia and contribute meaningfully to the University's vision of excellence.
