One-Day Faculty Development Workshop on Transforming STEM Teaching through Innovative and Impactful Practices Organized by: Faculty and Staff Development Center, GCWUF: Date: October 30, 2025: Venue: Seminar Room, GCWUF. Under the umbrella of the Faculty and Staff Development Center, Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) organized a one-day Faculty Development Workshop titled Transforming STEM Teaching through Innovative and Impactful Practices on October 30, 2025. The workshop aimed to enhance faculty competencies in modern pedagogical approaches, inclusive STEM education, and the integration of artificial intelligence and emotional intelligence into teaching methodologies. A total of 30 participants from diverse departments of GCWUF attended the workshop. The sessions were conducted by distinguished trainers and NAHE STEM ambassadors including Dr. Gul Sana, Dr. Sidra Fareed, Dr. Kashif Javed, and Dr. Saira Khan. The experts delivered interactive sessions on innovative teaching strategies, gender equity and inclusion in STEM education, learning outcome transformation, and psychological perspectives on emotional intelligence in learning. The Closing Ceremony was graced by Prof. Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli, Pro-Vice Chancellor GCWUF, Prof. Dr. Saima Akram, and Dr Hira Munir, Incharge ORIC, who distributed souvenirs and certificates among the trainers and participants. In her concluding remarks, Prof. Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli appreciated the initiative and stated, Such professional development programs play a pivotal role in fostering an innovative and inclusive academic culture. Empowering faculty with contemporary STEM pedagogies ensures quality teaching and better student outcomes. She also emphasized the importance of continuous training for faculty to align higher education with global scientific and technological advancements. The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr Huma Munir, Incharge ORIC, Dr. Farhat Jubeen, Incharge Faculty and Staff Development Center, Dr Gul Sana, Focal Person, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, GCWUF, who expressed gratitude to the university administration and participants for their active engagement and support.
