One-Day Workshop on Research Publication Pathway Held at GCWUF: The Faculty & Staff Development Center (FSDC), Learning Resource Center (LRC), and Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), in collaboration with Pakistan Scientific and Technological Information Centre (PASTIC), successfully organized a One-Day Workshop titled The Research Publication Pathway: Navigating the Submission and Review Process on Tuesday, 6th January, 2026, at Jinnah Auditorium, Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF). The workshop aimed to enhance faculty members and researchers understanding of the research publication process, with a particular focus on standard journal selection, ethical considerations in publishing, and the peer-review process. The session was conducted by the distinguished academic and resource person Prof. Dr. Salman Bin Naeem, Chairman, Department of Information Management, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. He shared valuable insights on identifying credible journals, avoiding predatory practices, maintaining publication ethics, and effectively navigating the submission and review stages of scholarly publishing. The workshop was held under the esteemed patronage of Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.), Vice Chancellor, GCWUF, whose continued support for research excellence and faculty development was highly appreciated. Participants actively engaged in the session, raising questions and sharing experiences related to research publishing challenges. The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the collaborative efforts of FSDC, LRC, ORIC, and PASTIC in promoting a strong research culture at GCWUF
