NotebookLM by Google for Faculty: F&SDC and LRC

The Faculty & Staff Development Center (F&SDC) in collaboration with the Learning Resource Center (LRC),organized a faculty development seminar titled AI Tools for Academic Productivity: A Hands-on Training on NotebookLM by Google for Faculty in the Video Conference Room on Wednesday. The seminar was a connection of the ongoing efforts to promote faculty capacity building and technology-enabled learning initiatives. The training session was led by Miss Misbah Bashir, Incharge Learning Resource Center, who introduced participants to NotebookLM, Google s AI-powered research and note-taking platform. She provided practical demonstrations on how the tool can support academic productivity by organizing research materials, summarizing scholarly documents, and generating contextual insights for teaching and research activities. Faculty members appreciated the initiative and highlighted the increasing importance of AI literacy in higher education.
