Mentoring Program for Universities (MPU) Phase-II, Mentoring Session Faculty & Staff Development Center (F&SDC), GCWUF A mentoring session under the HEC NAHE Mentoring Program for Universities (MPU) was successfully conducted on 22 April 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 01:00 p.m. at the Smart CS Lab, Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF). The session was graciously led by the worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.), who delivered comprehensive insights on all designated modules of the mentoring program. Her presentation was precise, intellectually rigorous, and highly focused, providing clear conceptual understanding and practical direction for mentors. All nominated mentors attended the session and actively participated throughout. Prof. Dr. Sofia Nosheen, Dean, Management & Administrative Sciences, GCUF, Prof. Dr. Nudrat Aisha Akram, Department of Botany, GCUF, Dr. Syeda Samina Tahira, Department of Education, UAF, Dr. Fozia Naseem. Department of Law, GCUF, Prof. Dr. Zill-I-Huma Nazli, Director Academics GCWUF, Prof. Dr Saima Akram, Coordinator Faculty of Numerical and Computing Sciences, Prof. Dr. Ayesha Sameen, Coordinator Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences, chairpersons and associate professors of various faculties attended the session. The session was marked by a highly interactive and engaging environment, encouraging meaningful discussion, critical reflection, and exchange of ideas. The modules covered included communication skills, conflict resolution and decision-making, growth and reflection, leadership development, ethics and integrity, inclusivity and diversity, digital and AI tools, and institutional innovation. The Vice Chancellor s discourse enabled mentors to further refine and clearly define the scope and approach of these modules for effective mentoring. Overall, the session proved to be highly productive and impactful, laying a strong foundation for the successful implementation of the MPU at GCWUF.
