A Seminar on "Civic Education for Tolerance and Peaceful Co-existence in a Pluralistic Society"

The Department of Sociology, in collaboration with the Society for Social Identity & Harmony and the Society for Social Peace, facilitated a seminar titled Civic Education for Tolerance and Peaceful Co-existence in a Pluralistic Society on February 12, 2026, at Government College Women University Faisalabad. Organized in partnership with the Punjab Higher Education Commission and the Center for Peace & Secular Studies, Lahore, the event highlighted the importance of civic education, democratic values, constitutional awareness, and social harmony. The session featured informative documentaries, interactive discussions, and a collective pledge promoting peace, tolerance, and responsible citizenship among students.
