Closing Ceremony of Summer Camp 2025

Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) held the Closing Ceremony of Summer Camp 2025 on 31 July 2025 at Jinnah Auditorium. The camp, held from 3 to 31 July, aimed to empower faculty and staff (grade 16 and above) through AI integration, professional growth, and well-being initiatives. Chief Guest Ms. Sadia Taimur, MPA, Parliamentary Secretary of the Women Development Department, praised the initiative for providing free stress management and AI training. She appreciated the faculty s enthusiasm towards the trainings and acknowledged Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz s women-focused initiatives, under the slogan Women First. She urged women to support each other for equality and encouraged men to embrace women s advancement wholeheartedly. Ms. Qudsia Batool and Ms. Uzma Raja, both Members of the Provincial Assembly (MPAs) and members of the GCWUF Syndicate, graced the ceremony as Guests of Honour, lending their valuable support to the initiative. Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.), Vice Chancellor of GCWUF and Patron-in-Chief of the Summer Camp, thanked Ms. Sadia Taimur along with the Guests of Honour for their valuable input, praised the faculty for their dedication, and encouraged them to participate in upcoming research and publishing sessions. She highlighted that hands-on training helped bridge the generation gap and equipped educators to handle modern challenges. Dr. Farhat, Director of Staff and Faculty Development Training, was commended for her leadership in organizing impactful sessions. The summer camp enhanced professional skills and promoted innovation, furthering GCWUF s mission of academic excellence, faculty development, and community engagement.
